Learn about the history and culture of herbs and edible flowers. Make an optional herb wreath and other projects, discuss fragrances and enjoy a potluck dinner. Learn about planning and planting herbs, soild preparation, and when to plant the right herb for the right spot, herbs for full sun, and fragrant and shade-loving herbs. Tour the herb and kitchen gardens and collect small buches of herbs to take home. Learn about the culinary uses for herbs. This class is held through RCGC.

A delightful flower fairt tea for all. Pretty sandwiches, snacks, cookes, cakes and more! Butterflies, fairies, and children get together for a wonderful time. Pick lavender and make a sachet. Children will pot flowers and herbs to attract butterflies in a take home garden. Class includes storeies, butterfly floroing sheets, butterfly hair wreathes and other surprises! Girls and boys are welcome!
Hear all about the ancient Mid Summer Solstice customs:
- Wear a magical wreath of mid summer solstice herbs and flowers. Take wreath home and hang to dry.
- Taste a delicious mid summer buffet of garden foods, flowers and fruits, and mid summer fruited wine.
- Make a lovely bouquet of herbs and flowers to hang on your wall.
- Go back to a bonfire by the creek to throw in a traditional mugwort sprig.
